The 11th edition of Interfilière Shanghai presented the newest trends and innovations in the worlds of lingerie, swimwear and leisurewear. Held October 12-13, 2015, at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the trade show featured 220 exhibitors from 15 countries. Qualified buyers, including 76 percent from mainland China, visited the show to do business and discover the latest industry developments.
Going forward, fashion, sport and health are the new lingerie buzzwords, according to the “Mouv’Innovation Forum,” created in partnership with the Federation de la Maille et de la Lingerie, which presented high-tech applications and the latest innovations for textiles and accessories used for sports and medical lingerie. In addition, the 270m2 trend forum, created in collaboration with Concepts Paris, identified such Spring/Summer 2017 trends for lingerie and beachwear as flower designs, the importance of blues, white textural effects, fine denier laces and geometric mixers.
To honor exhibitors for their achievements, Interfilière Shanghai presented awards across seven categories during its second annual Interfeel’Awards presentation. The 2015 winners included Liberty Tex (Taiwan) for Embroidery; Gayou Lace (China) for Lace; Takefast Limited (Hong Kong) for Accessories; Tengfei (China) for OEM-ODM; K-Boxing Warp Knitting (China) for Fabrics; Suzhou Famous Textile (China) for Fabrics/Prints; and Muehlmeier (Germany) for the Coup de coeur Europe award.
