Mode City and Interfilière Return to Lyon for 2016

Interfiliere_Trends ForumThe worlds of intimates and beachwear are returning to Lyon, France, in 2016. Eurovet, organizer of Mode City and Interfilière, has decided to move the trade shows from Paris to Lyon for the event this year, which takes place July 9-11. The Salon International de la Lingerie and Interfilière Paris will continue as scheduled from Jan. 23-25, 2016, at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles in Paris.

According to organizers, the move back to Lyon is due to the final of the UEFA Euro 2016, which is scheduled to take place in Paris at the same time and would create challenges for attendees booking accommodations for the shows. The return to Lyon will be a homecoming of sorts. Mode City and Interfilière were held in Lyon until 2008, when they moved to Paris. Known as a vibrant art, culture and textile center, Lyon offers plenty of hotel accommodations and is ideally located as a European transportation hub. Organizers expect an easy transition back to Lyon as the staff knows the city well and the event is receiving strong support from the Eurexpo Exhibition Park and the Greater Lyon City Council.
